  • Upcoming Movies and TV Shows

    This year, im waiting for at least 4 movies to come out, and about 4 shows to start.

    The movie that I have been waiting to see the most is the funny break-up movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", which was released in the 18th of April, but it hasnt made its way to Guatemala yet, so that sucks. This movie is starrs my favorite actress, Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Heroes) and Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother). Its supposed to be in the theaters in a couple of weeks so Im excited about that.

    Another movie im expecting eagerly is "The House Bunny", its funny too and it comes out this friday! I hope it gets here faster than "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". Katharine McPhee (Runner-up in AI season 5) is one of the lead actresses in the film, with Anna Faris. Produced by Adam Sandler, I can only expect great things.

    If anyone reading this has read the first book from the "Twilight" saga, then you obviously know that the movie is in post-production and it will be released in November 21st. The book was amazing, so I hope they can make the movie as good.

    And finally, to all Harry Potter fans like me, it must have been a dissapointment to find out that the movie will not be released until July 21st. I had been excited about this movie from the start of this year and I was really upset to find out about it being changed, but I guess theres not much we can do about it.. The good thing is that the 7th movie will be released shortly after the 6th one.

    Those are my 4 most expected movies. Now about TV shows....

    I dont know about everyone else, but I loved the Heroes season 2 finale, it was amazing, especially with the performance of Kristen Bell as Elle Bishop. I cant wait for the 3rd season to start! I hope its as good as it looks in all the previews and trailers.

    Smallville ended fantastic. Though the show has become a little bit repetitive, it still calls my attention. I hope they can pull it through with the huge cast change they are making and I hope we get to see Clark finally flying.

    Though I recently became a fan of Grey´s Anatomy, I can only say it’s the best doctor-sitcom there is, it brings lots of emotions and it allows viewers to learn a little bit about medicine (just a bit though). I didnt like the season 4 ending, so I hope they do better this year.

    Desperate Housewives season 4 was astounding, I didn’t expect much of it and I admit it was even better than most shows, so I hope they can keep up the good work and make even bigger situations with season 5.

    Im also eager to see the new TV show called Dollhouse, in which Eliza Dushku is lead actress, and it was produced by Joss Whedon, so to all Buffy and Angel fans (like me), this is something to be excited about, lets hope it becomes a great hit.

    I would write about upcoming books and records, but I don’t have more time now, though maybe next time I write it will be about them. Hope you enjoyed my stuff! Later!

  • Carrie Underwood concert!

    Well since I live in Guatemala, I never EVER thought I´d see Carrie in concert.. I´ll tell the story of how I decided to go! One day I was surfing through the internet... as usual, I went into a Carrie fansite and I saw that there were tour dates... so, I started to see the concert dates and places out of curiosity, knowing that I couldnt go (because of University, and because i´d have to buy the concert tickets and i´d have to travel all the way to the US just to see her)... but thats when I saw "November 1st, Houston, Texas". I didnt get too excited, because it still seemed impossible to me, but i pressed the button to see where it was, and it turned out to be sooooo close to where my family lives, that I was in shock! Thats when I got excited! I started to think that.. maybe I could finish University 2 weeks early (it isnt going to be easy, though), and I could save some money and go all the way to Houston! So I talked to my parents, they said it seemed cool and I should do it... and then I looked for more info on the concert, and I ended up here, in this website, and I saw the pre-sale tickets and I told my uncle.. and he bought them for me!! And thats how it all happened... So im very happy to say that i´ll be going to a Carrie concert and I hope I get to meet her!! =) I also hope that one day she comes to give a concert to my country! =)

    Going to fan club party ? Hey its Will. The turnout of Brians album last year for Carrie was amazing. Im going to take charge of Putting one together this year.     Hey your Meet & Greet picture turned out REALLY good!! =] Did you get some good concert pictures? I had sucky seating and I was behind some big guys so I couldn't see a thing. I had to watch the TV screens the whole night.
